This split-level brick house was in need of cover over the front porch, to keep off the weather and to add some depth to the facade. A 3D model of the front of the existing house was created using pictures and measurements. Then, the portico was built in the model. This model was uploaded to 3D Warehouse where the home owners could zoom through the model and view it from various angles. When the design was approved, construction began. Scroll through the pictures below to compare the 3D model with the finished build.

Details
A large new construction project under Yellowstone Traditions. This elegant house was constructed with a mix of conventional framing, metal, and log structures. Our crew spent months working at the mill getting logs picked, modified for installation, and scribed and assembled into pre-built structures to be installed on site. Along with installing the logs, our crew installed soffits, siding and trim using reclaimed barnwood and large live-edge boards.
